Mission & Vision
At Prosdoma, our mission and vision guide us to empower communities, promote sustainable development, and create lasting positive impact for generations.
Mission Of PROSDOMA
PROSDOMA’s mission is to promote sustainable development by protecting the environment, restoring ecosystems, and empowering communities to live in peace, dignity, and resilience. We work to combat deforestation, biodiversity loss, climate change, and harmful environmental practices while addressing social injustice, humanitarian needs, and the root causes of displacement and migration. Through community development, peacebuilding, humanitarian assistance, and newcomer settlement support, PROSDOMA strengthens vulnerable populations across Africa and Canada to achieve self-reliance and long-term well-being.
Vision Of PROSDOMA
PROSDOMA envisions a world where people and nature coexist in harmony, where communities are peaceful, just, and resilient, and where every individual, whether in Africa or Canada has the opportunity to thrive. We aspire to build environmentally protected landscapes, socially stable communities, and inclusive societies where migration is a choice rather than a necessity, and where newcomers are supported to integrate, belong, and succeed.
2030 Impact Forecast
By 2030, PROSDOMA aims to scale its reach to one hundred newcomers annually with a progressive annual increment of twenty starting January 2026 becoming one of Alberta’s trusted community resources for settlement support during critical transition stages.
