Governace &
Leadership

At Prosdoma, strong governance and ethical leadership guide our mission, ensuring transparency, accountability,
and effective decision-making for sustainable community impact.

Vision Bearer’s Statement

“In 2006, I founded PROSDOMA with a deep concern for the future of our environment and the well-being of communities whose livelihoods depend on it. I witnessed the destructive impact of illegal forest exploitation, toxic fishing and hunting practices, the rapid loss of biodiversity, and the growing vulnerability of rural families. PROSDOMA was born from the belief that sustainable development is not a luxury but it is a necessity for the survival and dignity of our people.

Our mission began with restoring degraded land, promoting sustainable agriculture, protectingbiodiversity, protecting water sources, and empowering communities to fight climate change through reforestation and environmental stewardship. Over the years, PROSDOMA has expanded into humanitarian action thus supporting displaced families, persons with disabilities, women, children, and underserved communities with compassion and practical assistance.

As our global community evolved, so did our responsibility. This led to the creation of PROSDOMA Canada, an extension of our mission focused on helping immigrants(newcomers) navigate the challenges of settlement and integration. In Canada, we provide support during critical transition stages like housing, employment readiness, digital skills, legal guidance partnerships, and community belonging. We ensure that newcomers, especially those arriving from vulnerable situations, are not left to struggle alone.

Today, PROSDOMA operates on two continents but carries one unified vision: to empower people, restore ecosystems, and build resilient, inclusive communities where every individualwhether in Africa or Canada can thrive.

I am proud of how far we have come, and I remain committed to advancing a future where humanity and nature flourish together. With every tree we plant, every family we support, and every newcomer we guide, we take another step toward a more sustainable, just, and hopeful world.”
